About our church

Riverside UMC enjoys a rich tradition, dating back to October 14, 1945, when the first organizational meeting was held. The existing structure was built in 1946 with the Educational Building being consecrated in December 1961. In 1997, more renovations were done: an addition with an elevator, handicapped restrooms and an expanded parking lot.

The history of Riverside is a record of Christian stewardship and
devotion. It is marked by the service of many who gave fully to
build a church to meet the needs of followers of Christ.
Riverside's future is in the hands of those who gather in the
name of Christ. We build on historic foundations to step into
an exciting future.
